Teacher Deals

As we quickly approach Back-To-School, there are numerous teacher programs and events to help educators prepare for the school year (since we all know teachers spend a lot of money out-of-pocket for the benefit of their students).

Michaels
Save 15% on your entire purchase every day (Must present a valid educator ID.  Includes sale items!). They regularly have 40% off coupons in the Sunday paper, but these are for one item and do not include sale items.  More details here.

Barnes & Noble
Barnes & Noble has what they call the B&N Educator Program.  You sign up for a free Educator Card in store and then receive an educator discount, resources, and more. You save 20% off the publisher's list price on all purchases for classroom use, get up to 25% off the publisher's list price during Educator Appreciation Days, and receive valuable email offers and information on special Educator events.

Office Depot
Office Depot's Star Teacher program gets you 10% back in Rewards on ink, toner and paper.  You also get a 15% instant discount on your Copy and Print Depot™ purchases (can be used to have your lesson plans laminated, have copies made for your upcoming spelling test, or get a poster printed for your classroom).  There's no limit to the amount of Rewards you can earn.  Plus, throughout the year you can earn bonus Rewards on select purchases - including on your birthday!  "Star Teacher Appreciation" week is going on right now through the 20th during which you get 20% off instantly on qualifying in-store purchases + free breakfast and giveaways on Saturday.  You will receive a free tote bag full of Office Depot brand products and a coupon book

Staples
There is a Teacher Appreciation Day on or around August 20th where you will receive:
  • FREE thank you gift bag (first 100 teachers)
  • Great coupon savings
  • Get a sneak peek at must-have new items for your classroom

OfficeMax
With the MaxPerks Rewards for Teachers program, you’ll earn a $10 reward in your MaxPerks account for every $75 you spend on qualified purchases - up to $100 per calendar year.

In addition to all the deals above, look out for Teacher Appreciation Week in May for great deals from many businesses.

Go get your teaching on!
